Concrete Floor Corner Grinding and Polishing Tools

These new, concrete floor corner grinding and polishing tools solve the last great problem with polished concrete floors.

Even professionals have had great difficulty being able to finish polished concrete floors and benchtops to the edges and in corners and other tight areas because the tools up to now have all been rotary grinding wheels other than the very slow and tedious hand polishing blocks.

The existing rotary tools cannot get into a right angle corner because they are round and spin around an axis leaving a triangular section of unfinished concrete in the corners of the room and around architraves or moldings which looks ugly and detracts from the quality of the polished concrete.

Recently the popular use of oscillating multi tools has enabled the development of diamond plated tools with different grits that will easily reach into corners, remove lippage, smooth the surface and prepare for polishing resin pads.

The result is a kit of ten concrete floor corner grinding and polishing tools to fit most of the oscillating multi tools that will remove glue or heavy paint, grind down lippage to level and fine grind the areas in preparation for polishing resin pads. The tools are in ‘finger’ style to get into tight spots and triangle style for flat grinding of slightly larger areas.

These concrete floor corner grinding and polishing tools can also be used on stairs, where stairs meet a wall, the sides of stairs and around other objects on floors such as pipes, H section steel support beams, backs of toilets or any other tight place where an angle grinder could not fit.

Dust is not a problem because the oscillating diamond head does not throw dust into the air, it settles around the tool and can be vacuum removed at any time. The tools are multi fit to suit most multi tools on the market and come in a pack of 10.

A coarse finger tool is supplied to remove lippage from hard concrete and three other finger tools will create a fine finish ready for resin pad polishing. Triangle diamond tools are also provided for flat areas in three grits similar to the finger tools. A triangular hook pad is included in the kit for attaching the resin pads for final polishing if required and two rasps are supplied to quickly remove glue and heavy coatings before diamond grinding which would normally clog quickly with such contaminants.
